Philip Rooke joins Spreadshirt as managing director

New MD to further growth in the Shop Partner and Direct to Customer areas of business

Leipzig, Germany; August 13, 2009 – Spreadshirt (www.spreadshirt.co.uk), the European market leader and creative platform for personalised apparel, announced today the appointment of Philip Rooke in the new role of VP and Managing Director, Shop Partner and Direct to Customer business units within Spreadshirt.

Philip, 41, was previously Managing Director of Skinstore Europe, a Tesco.com Director, CEO iVillage and Managing Director of Carlton Online.

Philip will be primarily responsible for developing sales and commercial areas, drawing on his considerable sales and marketing experience in ecommerce and new media.
