Fashion Brands for the Summer - New Styles from FRISURclothing
Spreadshirt launches a new collection with a Berlin label
Berlin/Boston/Leipzig, 21 June 2010: Just in time for the start of the Summer and the 3rd International T-Shirt Day, Spreadshirt added the new summer collection to its online shelves. This is the first time that the creative platform has worked together with a German label. Four relaxed cuts from the Berlin label FRISURclothing are the highlights of the new Fashion Brands collection. All four products are available exclusively at Spreadshirt for customers to personalise.
FRISURclothing, the label founded by Thies Meyer and Stephan Sunder-Plassmann, combines sophisticated lines and exceptional colour combinations with a street-wear fashion. FRISURclothing also selected exclusive colour combinations for Spreadshirt to allow customers to add design colours that match perfectly.
"We were especially delighted with the creative freedom that Spreadshirt customers have. We are excited to see how our collection will ultimately be designed further and also want to eventually take on these impulses in our creative development," said Thies Meyer and Stephan Sunder-Plassmann. The label even has a Spreadshirt history. The first steps for the founders started with their own Spreadshirt shop in 2003. That was yet another good reason for Anne Pollmer, Apparel Manager at Spreadshirt, to rekindle the cooperation with FRISURclothing. "We are above all looking for younger, smaller labels for our Fashion Brands collection - labels that are setting trends. FRISURclothing precisely meets our expectations - they are creating groundbreaking fashion without succumbing to mass hype."
The four new additions to the FRISUR collection go by the names of Frederike, Malin, Georg and Malte:
- Women's Hooded Dress Frederike: Made from an ultra-light cotton, Frederike entails a light summer night's mood full of insights and suggestions. Special accents include the relaxed hood and the FRISUR label on the back. Available in the colours grey/red and grey/purple.
- Women's Hoodie Malin: Malin will make you look twice - available in the colours red/white and grey/yellow, she catches your attention with her playful geometry. A delicate, decorative seam works its way across the front and diagonally over the back. Kangaroo pouch on the front and the label placed on the upper back shoulder.
- Men's Hoodie Malte: Malte is Malin's male counterpart also decorated with a wandering seam. Front kangaroo pouch and colour contrasting hood cords. Available in green/white and grey/blue.
- Men's Jersey Sports Jacket Georg: This relaxed sports jacket is the perfect companion for cool summer evenings. Soft jersey material on the outside and a smooth inner lining make this jacket a comfort to wear. The FRISURclothing label accents the back and a delicate stitch make this sports jacket a must-have for the summer. Available in blue/white and grey/blue.

About FRISURclothing
A spin-off of two restless teenage artists striving for creativity, FRISURclothing was formed as an idea that grew into a passion. After a number of experiments in trial and error style, which are part of FRISUR's approach, the first small collection was created in 2007. Since then, the street wear label has grown, designing unique and modern fashion with a creative mix of colour, cut and attention to detail. Wear the shape you enjoy!
About Spreadshirt
Spreadshirt is the “things you wear” answer to the growing desire for personal branding — letting customers quickly create one-of-a-kind, high-quality, expressive apparel. Our customers are:
- Buyers. Like tattoos, phone skins and MySpace or Facebook pages, Spreadshirt lets customers show who they are with what they wear, be it customized t-shirts, hoodies, jackets, bags, or accessories. If consumers don’t immediately have their own ideas, they are supported in finding what’s right for them with hundreds of thousands of top-quality designs from Spreadshirt’s extensive design community.
- Sellers. Spreadshirt’s online platform supports some of the world’s largest corporations, like CNN, Holiday Inn Express, and Nissan, along with individual designers, bloggers and hobbyists, to offer unique, expressive clothing for their brand without worrying about demand management, inventory, manufacturing, logistics, payments or customer service. A basic Spreadshirt shop is free to set up and to operate.
- Designers. Each week designers compete for fame and monetary prizes at laFraise, Europe’s largest t-shirt design competition and a Spreadshirt brand. The community votes, the designers get immediate feedback on their work, and limited edition t-shirts are printed and sold. laFraise also works with top brands like Celio, Greenpeace, and Sony to offer unique, crowd-sourced t-shirt designs to their communities and customers.
Spreadshirt was founded in 2002 in Leipzig without any outside capital and now employs more than 300 people in Europe and the United States. Spreadshirt has millions of individual consumers as customers, and over a half million shop partners worldwide.
