How do I create categories for my products and designs?

In the standard shop, you can create categories for your products. Categories will help you set your products by i.e. themes or colours and arrange your shop neatly.

In a designer shop (only premium shops ,) you can also define categories for designs.

Define product category

• Click on 'My Account' > ' Products '.
• Select a shop in the navigation bar above.
• Click on 'My Categories'.; Here you can set up a new category.

To allocate a product to a category or to copy it from there, go to 'My Products'.; Click on the checkbox next to a product or several products and then select option 'move to category' in the drop-down menu. In an instant, a further drop-down menu containing your categories will appear right next to it.

If you want to make your shop categories visible for every user, you need to go to 'Shops' > '"Layout"' and activate option 'Display category name'.

Define design category (only in designer shops)

• Click on 'My Account' > ' Designs '.
• Select a shop in the navigation bar above.
• To the left, click on 'My Categories'.; Here you can define a new category or edit an existing category.

To allocate a design to a category or to copy it from there, proceed as with product categories (see above).

When designs are allocated to a category, they appear when selecting them in the T-Shirt Designer or your shop.
