Fashion trends 2010: neon is the new matte

Leipzig and Berlin, 7th January 2010: even more up-to-date colours, wearable memories from the 80’s, further sports products and more usage and usability for ‘Digital-Direct’ prints: these are the most important trends to be seen during 2010! To fit with the coming year’s events and fashions, Spreadshirt has extended its range to stay at the forefront of the trendsetting world.

The ‘must have’ colours for 2010:

The 80’s are on their way back (again!), and Spreadshirt have prepared themselves by offering neon colours since last season. These neon-coloured prints are particularly strong in contrast with a black or white t-shirt. The coming ‘neon flock’ print will offer the same stunning contrast, with the added wow-factor of raised contours (with specially finished foils to achieve the effect). That means: only at Spreadshirt can you create personalised fashion printed with neon flock foils! Neon is not only available in the printing foils – but in the t-shirts themselves! 2010 will see a startling set of neon coloured t-shirts added to the range of men’s and women’s clothing. This year, we’ll be wearing ‘diva-blue’, classic brown’ and gold-orange (attention: partner-look possible!).

“In my mind, the three new colours will soon become best sellers. The brown goes perfectly with a sporty outfit or under a tracksuit. The orange gives out a warm and bright feeling all at once, while the diva blue projects a cool feel, that comes through with a splash of class due to the petrol coloured tone.” – Anne Pollmer, product manager at Spreadshirt.

A new impulse within the sportswear range
From early 2010, Spreadshirt will fulfill an often encountered request from their partners and customers. for more functional clothing! These requests have often included the wish to add personalised designs and text to jogging outfits. The ability to combine products from the sporty range, with those from Spreadshirt’s standard product lines is also close to customer’s hearts. For example, with the soft-shell jacket, you’ll find more than enough space to show some national pride during the forthcoming world cup. Whether they are able to offer printable swimming trunks in the coming time, depends on the results of the testing process currently taking place in the Spreadshirt lab.

Exclusive and classy
Spreadshirt’s Exclusive Collection combines classy designer looks and cuts, with the ability to personalise and make each product your own. The collection has found a stable footing within Spreadshirt’s product lines, and will be extended in 2010 with new, unexpected products in limited editions. Cooperation meetings with leading fashion labels in both Europe and the USA are currently in full flow.

The development of ‘Digital Direct’
The king of digital printing will receive new subjects. Digital Direct, the high-end printing process for digital formats and designs with complex colours, will be available for use with new sets of products during 2010. Great news for all who want a simple and quick way to print brilliant multi-coloured contrasts directly onto textiles.
