E-commerce merchandising platform shortlisted in the best ‘Fashion & Clothing’ category
London, 20 June 2014, Spreadshirt the e-commerce merchandising platform that enables people and brands to create, sell and buy ideas on merchandising has been shortlisted in the Fashion & Clothing category for the 2014 Online Retail Awards (ORA). The Awards recognise the top flight of the world’s online retailers, with finalists that are the embodiment of excellence for their customers.
ORA Managing Director, Matthew Davies, said that the awards have been the most successful year to date. “The trend towards high quality entries continued in 2014, with a high percentage of creative submission papers with clear company statistics to validate their entry. The Fashion and Clothing, and Home and Garden categories continue to flourish, while some entry categories were relatively small, the majority surpassed previous entry figures.”
Philip Rooke, CEO at Spreadshirt commented “We are enormously honoured to be shortlisted in this prestigious and competitive category. We truly had a year of innovation at Spreadshirt last year and we plan to continue this in 2014.”
Mr. Rooke adds “We launched our own t-shirt collection and saw the successful introduction of the touch-optimised t-shirt designer. As a result, 15% of our orders now start on a touch-screen device.”
The winner will be announced at the Awards ceremony on 16 September in London.
