E-commerce company shortlisted in the ‘Mobile site or innovation of the year’ category
Spreadshirt’s TeamShirts division has been shortlisted in the Mobile site or innovation of the year category for the 2016 Online Retail Awards.
The Online Retail Awards seeks out the best examples of retailers’ developments in web and mobile technology and advances in digital stores with finalists that are the embodiment of excellence for their customers.
The TeamShirts site is a creative and innovative response to developments taking place in consumer mobile shopping habits. TeamShirts took the approach that fitting essential features and information into smartphone screens was a matter of clever UX, not of screen space. As a result, TeamShirts are the first e-commerce site to offer purchasers of group kit and uniforms the ability to upload or choose a design and have the rest of the team vote on it, all done via a mobile device.
Philip Rooke, CEO at Spreadshirt commented “We are enormously honoured to be shortlisted in this prestigious and competitive category. Especially since the groundbreaking technology was developed in-house. The TeamShirts offering truly is a state-of-the-art solution for the growing market of group orders.”
The winner will be announced at the Awards ceremony on 13 September in London.
