A T-shirt Summer Could Make You Feel Good

London, 21 June 2011. Feel Good Drinks is launching a “Summer Makes Me Feel Good” t-shirt design competition with Spreadshirt (www.spreadshirt.co.uk) to celebrate International T-Shirt Day on 21st June. Entrants are invited to post a t-shirt design, reflecting the “Summer Makes Me Feel Good” theme, on the Feel Good Drinks website. The top ten t-shirt designs will be selected by a panel of Feel Good Drink judges.  Then the public can vote on their favourite t-shirt. The winning design will be included in the Feel Good Drinks t-shirt shop (https://feelgooddrinks.spreadshirt.co.uk) powered by Spreadshirt. Fans can order shirts with the winning design in the style and size to suit them. The winner will receive 2 t-shirts printed by Spreadshirt displaying their design, along with a three month’s supply of Feel Good Drinks.

Entrants will be encouraged to share their designs via social media tools such as Facebook and Twitter, and invite their friends and followers to vote.

Initiated by Spreadshirt in 2008, International T-Shirt Day (www.t-shirtday.com) is celebrated annually on June 21st, the first day of Summer in Berlin and Boston, the European and US headquarters of Spreadshirt, in addition to various other locations like New York or Mykonos organised by t-shirt enthusiasts around the world.

Steve Cooper, cofounder and Marketing Director at Feel Good Drinks said: “Summer is the perfect time for getting together to share a chilled drink with friends and also wearing your favourite t-shirts. We know our consumers are a creative lot who will embrace this opportunity to make their own designs, so we can’t wait to see the amazing ideas they come up with”.

Philip Rooke, CEO of Spreadshirt commented “This competition reflects the clothing-commerce idea of clothing as a message carrier through the use of good quality clothing and printing techniques. We want to encourage brands and designers, bloggers and bands to bring their message to life on clothing and benefit from increased interaction with their consumers, turning them into brand advocates through the use of clothing-commerce and the available levels of customisation”.

And anyone who can’t wait for the competition results can always create their t-shirt online with their favourite designs, photos and text  at Spreadshirt.co.uk and spend the summer feeling good.
