#Hackgate Seen the news, got the t-shirt?

The Commentator uses Spreadshirt for rapid reaction

LONDON, 21 July 2011, The story has developed daily, almost hourly, but news and aggregation site, The Commentator, used Spreadshirt technology (www.spreadshirt.co.uk) to produce #hackgate t-shirts whilst the Select Committees were still in session on Tuesday. http://www.thecommentator.com/index.php/online_shop

Starting with You’ll have to ask Mr. Yates about that one, by the end of the afternoon two more had appeared: I have no knowledge of that (James Murdoch) and Don’t F**K with the Deng. The question will be, can their designs keep up with the rapid pace of events?

The Commentator was conceived by Robin Shepherd and Raheem Kassam in 2010, to offer a fresh perspective on news and commentary to an English speaking audience.

Spreadshirt is a leading multi-channel clothing-commerce platform, which allows its shop partners to quickly bring their ideas to life on clothing via multiple channels; white label shops, social media shops, Spreadshirt marketplaces, 3rd party ecommerce sites like Amazon, and countless other applications which are using Spreadshirt’s API.

Spreadshirt’s print-on-demand technology offers limited initial investment risk for its shop partners, whilst the speed at which a design idea can be for sale, the quality of the apparel and quick delivery times ensure a customer-friendly experience. Spreadshirt Shop Partners can quickly and easily open their own custom (white label) online shop as a seamless extension to their websites. Spreadshirt in turn, handles all the stocking, online orders, payments, delivery (within 3-5 days in the UK) and returns, leaving the campaign group to focus on solely on its main activity and promoting its shop.
