Let’s be honest: Christmas sucks a little bit. Because people are expecting awesome gifts from you although you have no clue what to get them and they said they actually did not want anything. You maybe have to throw a Christmas dinner, which you would like to invite only nice people to e.g. your friends but then there are people who just expect to see you although they are not nice e.g. your parents. When you have finally chosen blood over fun there is the evil dinner. Which either ends in a fight with someone revealing some crazy secret or turns out dead silent until your mother bursts into tears because she was drinking through the Christmas stress. And you just did not have enough time to pick perfect gifts for everyone because you were busy organizing stuff. So no happy faces when unwrapping the gifts “that really weren’t necessary this year!” Okay. Let’s get over the horror Christmas scenario that I had to create to scare you so I can make you feel better a little later in this post.
I first have to come clean about something and apologize: We have no idea how to survive Christmas! Sorry. The title of this post is terribly misleading. The good news is: we are trying our best to make holiday season as pleasant as possible for you, because we will help you pick the perfects gifts: for people who said they didn’t want anything, for your mom, for your best friend, basically for everyone.
Here is how you will survive christmas with our help, at least gift-wise:
1. The Spreadshirt Elf
The Spreadshirt Elf is an awesome little fella waiting for you on Twitter to ask for help. Simply follow @spreadshirtelf and tweet him your questions. He’ll do the thinking and the research and bring back the most amazing gift idea for you. Here is how it works: Tweet the elf the basic info and whatever fits into 140 characters. For example: “Best Friend, 35, loves cats, hates children, kind of nerdy!” (<— Oh what a lovely fictional best friend, but this one will do for this elf tutorial. And here are: 24 WAYS CATS ARE BETTER THAN (FURLESS) CHILDREN)

2. Incredibly amazing X-Mas Pinfest with glitter and stuff…
For your christmas inspiration we have set up a couple (no not really, actually many) boards to get your creative juices flowing. For one, we have set up the world’s longest christmas wishlist. There you can check out what people are wishing for this year and find some inspiration or just add your wish to the list.
