Slowly, slowly catchee bunny. Preparation ahead of time will make sure you’ll turn this year’s Easter season into a right jamboree for your pockets. As always, we’re going to help you reap in the eggs as well, and this week’s blog post has our long ears on the pulse of the Easter market: what products do well? How much are folks prepared to spend on gifts? Which designs should you focus on? We’ll have a few pertinent pieces of advice for you, so read on.
Som’n small for the little ones
Your first contemplation should always be to consider who the people are that visit your site/shop. Are they looking for clothing or accessories? And are they looking for gifts for kids or adults? You should consider whether your designs fit the Easter bill, or whether to look for suitable designs in Spreadshirt’s Marketplace. As a rule of thumb, you should bear in mind that kids’ gifts should of course be more rather adorned with classic Easter designs, and that – unlike Christmas – Easter gifts don’t usually exceed 20 quid. This means that e.g. lavishly printed hoodies won’t do as well as accessories with only one spring-like design.
The right products
Suitable Easter products include e.g. a cuddly Easter Bunny, teddies, mugs (as a carrier of chocolate eggs), tote bags (to be equipped for the egg hunt) as well as smartphone covers, lanyards and buttons. We’ve also freshly added a few new T-shirt colours to meet the season. American Apparel’s classic T-shirt is now available in lime and mint for women and men. Women can also order this item in dusky pink, and they have an added choice of receiving the Women’s V-Neck T-shirt in navy. These new additions will surely make spring more fun and add value to your shop.
A new coat of colour
Make sure that your designs are in line with your peer group, the season and the occasion (aka Easter). Spring will be in full bloom before we know it, and Easter is a time for kids to look for sweet little somethings in the garden. Time for you to do some spring cleaning in your shop and let your brand shine in a brand new light. Spread cheerful Easter messages through your social media channels, and include subtle links to your newly designed products.
