I’ve got this new jacket – the red Urban Classics college jacket – and it hardly ever gets to see the inside of my wardrobe: I’m always wearing it! We recently added it to our product range and ever since I bought it, I only heard positive reactions! So here are 5 convincing reasons why college jackets are THE thing this year:
1. College jackets are slick, because…
Just have a look at any of those glamorous fashion mags, and you can bet your money on seeing quite a few celebrities sporting this jacket. Just recently I saw Taylor Swift und Rihanna pictured with a college jacket. And I for one don’t read fashion mags all the time 😉 So, college jackets are en vogue!
2. College jackets are too cool for school
And this is why people wear them at uni! When you’re a student you can wear whatever you feel like, because there’s no need for the black tie or similar. The name – college jacket – says it all, doesn’t it?!
3. College jackets can be combined at will
College jackets are sporty, but still stylish. You can combine them with all sorts of styles, just think jeans, skirts or even joggers (when nipping out to the shops).
4. College jackets are ideally suited for matching clothes
Not only I can call a college jacket my own, my husband couldn’t resist but get one as well. And actually, I already bought two second-hand ones for our little son. I made sure that one of them is the same colour as mine, because I feel that this opportunity of a mommy-and-son partner look won’t come up all too often in future 🙂
5. College jackets can be worn in any weather
College jackets can be worn in any season! In spring and autumn they can be worn any day, and you can also wear them on colder days in summer and warmer days in winter. College jackets keep you warm when you need them to, but you will never really sweat in them.
