Why is the Marketplace so important? Why is the Create Tool no longer my number one sales channel? Why are designs offered free of charge there now? And in what way do the two areas actually differ?
In recent months, we have received a lot of questions. We have taken your feedback as an opportunity to clarify things and give you a brief outlook for the future. Here we go.
As of 12 February, you’ll only be able to access our API with a valid API key and user agent via HTTPS. We announced this in December.
We asked you to come up with your most playful and kid-friendly designs, and you wowed us with a bounty of infantile shenanigans. It took a group of serious adults to decide on the winners.
We’d like to congratulate iwona, SorayaMarali, and modartis for earning the top three spots in our contest! While we wouldn’t say that these guys have failed to grow up, they do understand what child’s play is all about.

Push the lipstick, pounder and paint to the side, and you’ll find brash characters in defiance of the spoilt-little-madam stereotype. Show us your design that best expresses the ’Girl Power’ idea, and take your chance to win up €500. Deadline for participation: 15 Feburary 2018.

Just imagine you were a kid again – which design would be on your favourite T-shirt? Have a look at the world from a child’s perspective, and take your imagination to the wonderful world of light-hearted playfulness. We’re looking forward to your best take on ‘Child’s Play’ by 24 January 2018. There are prizes of up to £500 up for grabs.

As the number of legitimate users and calls rise in an API environment, so does the number of illegitimate users. Our public API has increasingly fallen victim to deliberate malpractice recently. In order to ensure safety for yourself and your customers, we feel impelled to limit access to the API path in question. Effective Monday, 20 November, we will take precautions by limiting the API rate.
Traditional networking requires a certain type of personality. Awkwardly shaking hands, forcing a smile and sucking up to complete strangers isn’t always a comfortable situation. However, growing your network is one of the most important entrepreneurial practices, especially for designers. Nevertheless, traditional networking is useful when done correctly, but it’s not the only networking practice used to cultivate brand awareness.
