Shop Partner Opportunity: Become a Shop Tester and Enter to Win an iPad Air 2

blog_shop_test the shop

After a closed beta phase of our newly-developed Shop, we’re opening the doors to all of you Partners out there to lend us a hand and have a peek around our new Shop version. This offer comes with a dual-benefit: your feedback and input will help us in molding the next Shop version to your specifications, preferences, and needs, and you will be entered in a raffle for a 64GB iPad Air 2. Awesome.

What’s Been Changed?

The entire look and feel of the new Shop system has been changed, and it has also been optimised for swiping, scanning, tapping and clicking in mobile browsers. Don’t worry; none of the functionality or navigation of your Shops will be affected by the test version.

How Do I Become a Tester?

To help test the new Shop version, all you have to do is log into your User Account and look for the “Beta Test” link under the “Shop Settings” tab. Our aim is to collect all participants’ feedback in a User Voice forum, evaluate your ideas, suggestions, likes and dislikes, and then prioritize the changes for the release of the final Shop version.

Did You Say I Could Win an iPad Air 2?

I did say you could win a 64G iPad Air 2! All participants in the Shop version testing will be entered into a raffle for the brand new tablet. Like I said at the beginning, this really is a win-win situation. You get to help us mold the new Shop version to your suggestions and you could win a pretty awesome new piece of hardware. Good stuff.

Some More Details

The runtime of the testing and feedback period is from 06 May to 06 June, 2015. Within the User Voice forum, you will see Partner feedback listed in a ‘TOP 10 Ideas’ format where we have compiled the most popular opinions of our testers. Once the process has been completed, we will perfect the next Shop version for release and choose the winner of the iPad.

You can find the terms and conditions as well as the data protection regarding this raffle here

We really appreciate your help with this and, as always, will strive to put out a product that you can be proud of for use in selling your designs and products. Thank you in advance for all of your comments and suggestions, and good luck in the raffle!

  1. Omg wow I used to come on this like 3 times a week but I’m pretty sure it will be bout 3 times a day now!

  2. myself and my table tennis team are big user of spreadshirt web page…what I find somehow more complex vs previous version is writing on the t-shirts. if i want to use different dimensions of the characters within the same shirt, too often the sistem reset-itself bringing me back to the original message dimension so the work has to be done all over again….
    rest is ok

  3. Hello all,

Thank you for your feedback! Please let me reply to you:

@antonio onni: We couldn’t see the problem you described, so I´d recommend trying it again, and, if you should still encounter the same problems, please contact our service team: partner@spreadshirt.net. Please describe the issue in as much detail as you can including screen shots and state your shopID.

@Dirk Langpap: It is currently not possible to choose a design view as you could in the past, but we are already working on an alternative solution.

A piece of good news for everyone: we’re having a raffle on our voice forum, feel free to give us feedback there! http://sprdshirt.uservoice.com/forums/290698-spreadshop-feedback-forum-europe

    Best regards,
    Leila from Spreadshirt

  4. Your service has been good for me in the past, but now your page wont let me upload any design, i tried contacting you but that didnt help, so not much point in hanging around anymore.

  5. Hi, first impression is that the shop looks better than the last version. The products look bigger and everything just looks cleaner. I don’t know if it’s just me but the design zoom takes a bit too long to show when hovering over a product. Also, is it possible to go to the design view as with the previous version?

    Cheers

  6. I strongly agree Thomas on this one. The new layout is a massive leap from the original but it would benefit massively from being wordpress compatible.

  7. Test, schmest – the whole Spreadshirt experience has been a waste of time and effort for me, costing far more in design time than I ever made in sales.

  8. Hi, my suggestion is that it would be cool, if you made a compatible wordpress plugin, since most people nowadays use wordpress for their websites. It would be easy to implement to a website – drag’n drop products to sell, change images on the fly, without leaving wordpress. I think spreadshirt would gain a lot of costumers/sellers on this behalf. Just like this blog, that you’re writing this competition on. Some widgets would be fine too, could be an image widget with the 4-8 newest products in the shop, maybe a product slider in html5 on the frontpage. WordPress will open a lot of doors, and it is an easy way to program and set up. Your subscription/abonnement service can also be updated within a wordpress plugin, and it will easily communicate with your php/html and so on. Like i said, such a plugin will gain you a lot of costumers 🙂 (sorry for bad grammar)
    Kind regards
    Thomas Windfeld 🙂
