At the beginning of May, we called upon our Partners to test our new Shop version and offer their advice, experience, and expertise in fine-tuning the finished product. Many thanks to those who participated; the feedback we received was crucial in making changes and additions that only the insight of our Partners could provide. We are happy to announce that—thanks in large part to you—our new Shop version is now live!
How do I update my shop?
The settings for your mobile Shop are managed through the new shop system. You can find the update options in your User Area under “Mobile Shop”. The link to your store with the updated look and improved features is “https://shop.spreadshirt.co.uk/YourShopName/”.
Want to get behind the wheel of the new Shop and take her for a spin? Implementation is possible via Javascript, with a full explanation available here. The new Shop version will have a steady roll out of features that will be implemented over the coming weeks, the status of which can be found by visiting our Developer’s Blog. The option to implement the new Shop version or not is yours, but we strongly suggest you give it a go. Learning the new features and navigation will help you down the road when we phase out the old version after the dust has settled.
You are always encouraged to share your feedback with us. Any thoughts, concerns, questions or comments can still be communicated via the User Voice Forum. All submissions will be taken to heart and considered for future projects. Have a look at the User Area’s FAQ article for some extra insight and more information about the new Shop version.
What are your overall impressions of the new Shop version? Were our developers able to bring your ideas, suggestions, wants and needs together with this more functional and more efficient Shop version (keep in mind that there are more features to come)? We’d love to hear your comments. A toast to the hard work put in by all involved; and here’s to happy Shop Partners!

Hello Karlo,
You are just a few clicks from the switch. It goes like this:
– In your User Account, go to “Shop settings” => “Appearance” => “Settings” => and click on “yes” to “Switch automatically from my old shop to the new one”.
If you like, you can find the new link to your Shop in “Shop settings” => “Settings” => “Mobile Shop” (will be renamed soon into “Spreadshop”).
Best regards,
Leila and your Spreadshirt Team
How do you convert the old shop into the new version? I’m on the U.S. site.
Many thanks for the reply, I think my initial terrors have subsided somewhat now and moved on to working out how I’ll use it 😀
Hello and thank you for your fast feedback!
@Justin French: we´ve fixed this issue in the meantime and now it should work. Please just check it again.
@Andy Spencer: the new shop is not final yet. It´s more a first version of the new shop. That means we´re permanently working on it to improve it step by step. All features you mentioned will be added in the future.
Kind regards,
Leila from Spreadshirt
OK, something that is really worrying me as it might just render my entire shop near useless…
How do you just see the products available for a single design?
You used to be able to do /shop/designs/ at the end and get links from there.
Also I’m pretty annoyed you’ve removed the option to select colours direct from the front page, that showed that multiple colours are available, now it can look like there’s only the colour you set as default when making the item.
So far I’m viewing this with a large amount of depression and am hoping the old shop style never leaves as an option.
New javascript version of the shop is nice – though it does slightly mess up the page on my site due to it sticking to the left of the page rather than being centred. Can probably fix it with some custom CSS
