The world of fashion keeps producing new trending colours to define the season. In 2015, the ruby-red shades of marsala have been spreading glowing notions of winestone and burgundy. Reason enough to look into the colours that have sold best at Spreadshirt in the past 12 months.
To get a relevant picture, we looked at the sales numbers of two classic summer and winter products for men, women and kids each. The question we were seeking an answer for was “what were the best-selling colours for tees and tanks (summer) as well as hoodies and jackets (winter) in the past 12 months?” Let’s just state the most important observation straight away: whenever products are available in black, white and heather grey, they were doing exceptionally well regardless of gender and age group. For you this means that you should definitely offer these colours in your Shop, but also the following ones:
Men’s colours
Men like classic colours, no matter whether it’s summer or winter. T-Shirts und Tank Tops were mostly bought in navy, red, royal blue and kelly green. Hoodies and jackets showed very similar results, only that green was just about in front of bordeaux.
Women’s colours
More distinguished colour trends can be observed with what the ladies wear in season. Summery T-shirts and tops were mostly ordered in mint, closely followed by navy, dark pink and royal blue. Warmer gear was also very popular in classic tones of navy and Bordeaux, and then also the berry-like colours of crystal pink and purple.
Kid’s colours
Kids’ gear is and has always been full of colour! And that’s a good thing. T-Shirts and tops for the little ones in kelly green, royal bue, dark pink and purple are always sought after. The same is true for long-sleeve products: royal blue and light green jumpers and jackets have always been very popular, just like warm clubber in red and berry tones such as sorbet.
Bet on the red
Products for women, men and kids all do very well when offered in one of the red tones on offer for the individual product. And this is true for any season. Marsala, brash red, dark pink or berry tones – all the red colours hit it great with our customers.
