With 2015 drawing to a close, all eyes are set on 2016 already. What’s it holding in store for you? Are there any fundamentally good news for Shop Partners and Marketplace Designers? Well, we took a look into the crystal ball for you – so be sure to catch a glimpse of the future after the jump!
We’ve tackled quite a few challenges in 2015 to make the experience for Shop Partners and designers a more refreshing one. Next to a revamped User Area for our Shop Partners and new state-of-the-art SpreadShop to boost your sales, we’ve added heaps of features and improvements. And the design contests we conducted yielded a fair few quality designs. Still, we’ve got our work cut out for 2016 already, and new challenges are waiting just around the corner.
The New Shop will be even better
Although the SpreadShop is fully operational, it is currently just available for optional use since not all the features that have previously been available have been included yet. We’re going to change just that in 2016, so look forward to a fully operational and brand spanking new SpreadShop. You’ll be able to administrate your Shop even more swiftly and easily, and the optimised feature set is bound to increase your sales. That’s when we’ll be able to completely bid farewell to the old version.
Simplified management and intuitive designs
Managing your Shop is just as important as quickly uploading multiple designs. With the upload, you’ll be able to make adjustments and add the necessary information for all the designs at the same time. Our developing team is already working on the process optimisation of these aspects. In an interview with our chief developer you’ll find out more about a beta version that’s been put to the test in 2015. Look forward to it being available in its entirety in the course of 2016.
Top topics in 2016
Trending topics for next year include some of the popular classics: as every year, Valentine’s Day offers a great sales opportunity for you. Pencil it in so that you can gear up your Shop in time and benefit from the windfall. And then the Euros 2016 will get the country in the mood for football, which means that scarves, jerseys, key chains, caps and – of course – T-shirts with football designs will capture the imagination of a lot of people. Remember that a well planned implementation and social media campaign means that you’ll be in the money as well.
2016 holds a lot of exciting changes and events in store for us, and we are sure that it’ll be just as rewarding for you if you keep your ears on the tracks to turn your Shop into a lucrative domain.
