Spreadshirt Sets its Sights for an Annual Revenue of 100 Million Euro

The results of the previous and the ongoing business years give reason to set new revenue goals

London – 14 November 2011: Record-breaking growth numbers in North America and the general development on the onlinemarket for clothing has encouraged Spreadshirt’s Board to announce a new revenue goal: the company looks to reach a revenue of 100 Million Euro within the next few years.

Spreadshirt has been profitable since the beginning of 2010. According to the report, annual revenue increased to 31.8 Million Euro in 2010. The increase in revenue was primarily driven by developments in the North American market, where annual revenue growth reached 35%. Total revenue growth across all markets in 2010 was 14%.

Spreadshirt has also seen a very positive growth in orders throughout the first and second quarters of the current year: North America’s average order amounts have grown by 86% in the first half of 2011. Annual order growth increase across all markets is currently at 27%. Similar growth is also expected to continue in the third and fourth quarter. Thus, the clothing-commerce platform is confident that it will increase its annual revenue to more than 40 Million Euro in 2011.
2011 has been a great year for Spreadshirt. Growth rate continues to improve throughout the year. The e-commerce market for clothing continues to expand in all regions. “Our growth is also fueled by product improvement and consumers growing understanding of what we offer”, explains Philip Rooke, CEO of the clothing-commerce platform Spreadshirt. As more partners offer branded apparel choices and print-on-demand methods through Spreadshirt we are reaching many more customers. Consumers are also discovering that a customised piece of clothing makes a great gift at a very reasonable price. “Spreadshirt expects these consumer trends to continue to drive growth to record levels,” added Rooke.

With currently more than 350 employees worldwide, Spreadshirt has continued to strengthen its team. The departments Customer Service, Online Marketing and IT have seen considerable reinforcement in recent months.
