Valentine’s Day is here! For some, a special day filled with special gifts. For others, it’s just another February 14th. I belong to the second group and mean no disrespect to those in the first group with my excuse motto:
“I don’t really believe in giving gifts on a made-up day. I like to give gifts when they least expect it – just for fun.”
And you never can get a reservation at a restaurant anyways. Some guys or gals might not have that as an option on days like toay. But random gifts on days they least expect it, “just for the sake of it”, can really do the trick. And I want to help those who think like me and (for whatever reason) didn’t give someone a gift today.
Now’s your chance to get that un-forced, non-Valentine’s gift for FREE! All you have to do is tell us the following:
1. For whom? Who is the lucky recipient?
2. What? Which product (from the Marketplace or Spreadshirt shop)
3 Why? Tell us why you want to gift that product.
Either answer those three questions in a comment below (or send it secretly to us: stories AT spreadshirt.net). You have until Wednesday at noon – and then we will pick three winners who will be awarded with a voucher for their shirt.
UPDATE! We’ve chosen our Random Acts of Spreadshirt winners! MartYn from comments below, and two from our German blog: Kes von Mauseohr with the Beetlebum T-Shirt and Romibello with a shirt for his best friend Silvio Berlusconi. We’ll be in contact with the winners. Thanks to all participants and enjoy your free shirts!

My colleague Eliza deserves to receive such a gift
I think she would appreciate https://toonshop.spreadshirt.com/bonne-st-valentin-A6958242/customize/color/145 because she loved the design when it was still on paper:)
She deserves this gift for all the work and time she gives to various humanitarian organizations (through GVN Foundation or New Zeland Refugees for instance) but also for his very human qualities with the people she meets through her work: Grants Coordinator at GVN Foundation
My friend Sylvia she deserves it, she is a great friend and a big support in hard times always there when needed..her own life isn’t easy and yet still she provides help, listen plus the big laughs :))
A cat design would be perfect for her as a great cat lover :

1. I know my sister deserves a gift because she’s going through very serious sickness in her bones. I’m tried of hearing her cry and awake up at night beacuse of her sickness. This would make her happy!
2. What product she would love from a Spreadshirt Shop is from: ChubbyScene’s Clothing is this:
because she loves what that organization is standing for.
3. Because you don’t know how stoked she would be. She might get a heart attack just by seeing that Sweater in face. LOL
1. My friend Angela Allison
2. https://diabetees.spreadshirt.co.uk/super-d-mom-A14905737/customize/color/1
3. I would like to gift this product to Angela because I think she does a tremendous job trying to improve awareness for type 1 diabetes. She has started her own awareness campaign and has even gone to the lengths of selling her house to help fund it http://www.lep.co.uk/news/health/staking_their_mortgage_on_helping_kids_with_diabetes_1_3070284 She has 5 daughters, 1 with type 1 diabetes, 2 of them have coeliac’s disease and another has food allergies. She has so much to contend with on a daily basis yet she has the drive and enthusiasm to put all this time, money and effort into such an important campaign. I know this shirt would not only make her smile but would also help towards improving awareness when people ask her what it means. Therefore she would appreciate this gift twice as much 🙂

1. For my friend Tyson Hesse
2. I’m sure he’d appreciate anything, but as a sort of joke I’d like it to be something obnoxiously colored.
3. Tyson has been pretty much struggling non-stop the past few years to make ends meet, he’s an artist and a really talented one too, but it’s still been a pretty hard knock life for him. I’d think a tiny gift from a friend would help brighten up his day at the very least.
