I decided to go for a retro bag. As far as accessories go, it’s a pretty durable piece of kit, so it’s perfect for me. I like retro because it’s all about colour, and I just loved the brown one as soon as I saw it. It’s a perfect match for just about anything in my wardrobe (well, perhaps not that sequined ball gown).
I’d been on the lookout for a bag that was big enough to hold all that important paraphernalia (rain coat, brolly, lunchbox, bottle of water), but not too big, mind – I wanted something I could take with me on my bike. I’m always dashing from A to B on my trusty two-wheeler, and the bag fits perfectly into the basket.
In the front there’s a wide, zipped compartment that’s great for putting all those little bits and bobs in, like tissues, keys, chewing gum… the list is endless. The main compartment is rectangular and you can fit loads in it – it’s like it was made for me! Because you never know what to expect (and when you might need to up sticks and leave the country). There’s a small compartment sewn into the main part, and my wallet fits perfectly in there – I like to know that that’s safe and sound. The compartments all have a super-sturdy zip, which is handy if, like me, you tend to shove everything in two minutes before leaving the house and you don’t want anything to fall out!I’ve had my bag for 2 years now and still use it all the time. Even when I pop to the gym in the evening, it’s ideal: It’s a piece of cake fitting my trainers, water bottle, clothes and towel in the bag.
You could say I’m pretty proud of my design: a light-blue pixel monster – anyone who knows what I do for a living finds it very apt, and everyone else sees another cool retro reference.

It’s a great retro bowling bag inspired model 🙂 Favourite!
