I must admit that over the past few weeks I was starting to become a little obsessive, twitching the net curtains and lurking about in our warehouse, because I just couldn’t wait until it arrived: our new rucksack. About a month ago it was finally time! I just had to choose the colour and design, and then I finally had it in my hands: A thing of beauty, my first personalised rucksack! Between me, you and the gatepost, I’d been dreaming of this moment for years. Back at school it was always the same: You’d search and search like mad and find what you thought was the coolest rucksack on the planet, only to turn up at the playground and find some other kid with exactly the same one.
But my rucksack is more than just beautiful, it’s so useful! I cycle to work every day and I reckon a shoulder bag would be ever so slightly impractical for me. I admit you can’t fit everything but the kitchen sink, but that really doesn’t matter because there’s still plenty of room for everything I need on a day-to-day basis. All those important little bits and bobs, like my mobile, wallet and keys fit in the front compartment, which is obviously really handy and prevents irritating fumbling around! What’s more, there’s even a little opening to thread your earphone cable through, so I’m always listening to my favourite tunes. It’s the little things that count!
