A T-shirt’s natural habitat is usually a hanger in a clothes shop, a dark wardrobe, a washing machine’s tumbler or – as a result of a lucky stroke of fate – a person’s torso. To add more versatility to T-shirt utilisation, The International T-Shirt Day puts on the #tshirttheworld photo contest.
Our objective: T-Shirts everywhere!
The idea is to show a T-shirt in an unusual situation to demonstrate just how cool T-shirts are. For the love of tees, go outside and dress an object or thing in a crazy place with a T-shirt!
How to take part?
Simple, this is how:
- Take one or many unusual T-shirt photos
- Upload your pics on Instagram, Iconosqare or directly on www.t-shirtday.com
- IMPORTANT: add the hashtag #tshirttheworld
- Deadline: 21st June 2014. Please make sure you submit your photos by this date.
Shortly after T-Shirt Day, our Tee Expert Jury will honour the most creative T-shirts. And if you can convince our jury, you get the chance to win one of our fantastic prizes.
And the winners get…
- GoPro Hero3+ – A top-notch video camera for adventurers. Stick it on your car, a Cessna aeroplane, your mountain-bike, skis or surfboard (yes, it’s waterproof!) and take HD videos wherever you go. Then upload your vids via wifi to share your adventures with the world. http://gopro.com/cameras/hd-hero3-black-edition
- T-Shirt quilt worth $110. Project Repat turns your old T-shirts into a patchwork of art. Handmade and totally unique – check out a few examples: www.projectrepat.com
- A year of free T-shirts from Spreadshirt or Shirtinator – create your free monthly T-shirt 12 months in a row
All photo submissions of this contest can be viewed on www.t-shirtday.com. Go #tshirttheworld !!!
