Shine bright like a diamond!

blog_special-foils_main_EU

Every little princess loves the stuff that glitters and glams, and a bit of bling-bling does indeed add a hint of glamour to your clothing – and that’s not strictly for girls only. Stars like Selena Gomez and Lindsay Lohan take pride in sporting their glamour gear head to toe and fingernails to pigtails, so why not create your own glitzy items to shine out against the masses?

It’s that time of year again when you see every bauble and Christmas tree glitter wherever you look. We at Spreadshirt can of course not resist the temptation to bring up the rear and strike a blow for our glitter prints. If Lady Gaga did it and Marc Bolan invented it, there is surely no harm in doing so! So print some brightly shining designs on your gear, and the added ritzy-glitz pizazz factor is bound to give you an air of debonair elegance and Christmassy savoir vivre. And if you should already have an invitation to a New Year’s party, this could be your chance to start 2015 like a shooting meteor shower.

The T-Shirt-Designer gives you the choice of 8 sparkling colours: gold, silver, pink, red, blue, green, black and white. These shining prints are joined by our ’glow-in-the dark‘ option to light up the night and any dance floor in town.  Or, as somebody once sang: “Yeah we all shine on, like the moon, and the stars, and the sun!”

Check out our special foils in the T-Shirt Designer. If you highlight a design or text, just click on the colour box (top right) to change the print method to ‘special’. Then choose your glitter colour, reflective or glow-in-the-dark print foil, and there’s nothing in the way of you and more glamorous days! Here you can check out some pics:

As you can see, the glitter prints really get the best out of any symbol and design. Super fine prints and fonts get accentuated and just look great. Please note: special foil prints only work in one colour alone. This means that a design can unfortunately not be combined with several glitter prints. But you can always choose to print different glitter designs next to each other. Make sure that the glitter designs stand out nicely against the product colour when viewing it on your screen so that the actual print will turn out well. Silver, white or reflecting prints come out great on dark fabrics. Darker colours like blue and black work better on lighter fabrics.

Feel like going all glam? Then get the T-Shirt-Designer into gear, choose a product and glitz it up!  And if you have a Spreadshirt shop, you should grab the chance and create some new glamorous products now. Try it out and share your experience with us below!

  1. Hi Vicky,

Has your design very fine lines? Some designs can only be printed as a digital direct print, which is a print method that doesn’t allow for foil prints (for glitter etc.). If you e.g. have a photo with a transparent background, the lines are very fine so that we can only print in digital direct. Hope that´s helpful for you!

    My best,
    Leila

  2. I’m confused. I put my simple design (one colour with a blank background) onto a t-shirt but couldn’t find the “color box” on the top right.
