The Process

These simple instructions will make you memorable Halloween costume that won’t hurt your wallet:

1. Find or buy yourself a hoodie that’s a couple sizes too big for you. Bear in mind that you’ll need to get both of your arms and legs into the sleeves, and your whole body needs to fit in the jumper.

2. Place the hoodie facedown on the floor (the back of the hood should be facing the ceiling).

3. Pull the hoodie on as though you were putting on your trackie bottoms, working your legs down through the sleeves.

4. Work your arms down alongside your legs so that both are in each sleeve.

5. This is the tough part: now that you’re halfway in, you need to pull the hoodie over yourself as though you were putting it on normally. This can be a little tricky, so maybe sit on the floor while you attempt to contort yourself into your hoodie. Once you’ve got you head into the hood, you’re almost there.

You’ve made it! Now have someone help you off the floor (or carefully get up yourself) and practice your moves. Practice your moves in front of a mirror. You can add a mask or other components to this quick and easy Halloween costume (spikes on the back or perhaps some antennae). You will own this one.
