  • If I Were Mayor there’d be slides on the Tube
  • If I Were Mayor #riotwombles would get a medal

NEON is the New Black – Now Back with a Bang

Ready or not, here they come. Again! We’ve reactivated a bunch of bright neon colours to really make your outfit pop. Yesterday our zip hoodie by American Apparel got the new colour additions of neon-yellow, neon-pink and neon-orange.
We’ve already got plenty of looks around the office strutting around like it was 1990. We promise that you will be the centre of attention wherever you go with one of these hoodies on.

The new colours are available for all techniques, but we recommend using our neon-flex colours to guarantee a truly blinding effect 😉

These new colours will only be available in a limited edition until autumn 2012 unless you go crazy about them. In that case we will carry them much more longer.

Looking forward to hearing what you think about our new additions – let us know in the comments below!

DIY-Creative Ways to Reuse your old T-Shirt

As a huge fan of all things T-Shirt related and with Earth Day right around the corner, We’ve collected some super creative ideas on how to reuse an old t-shirt or add some extra flair to one of your favorites. Did I also mention that all of these projects cost nearly nothing- perfect for all of us on a budget!!

Courtesy of our friends at PinterestTurn your tee into a cute and sexy summer tank. Only requires a pair of scissors and some ribbon, no SEWING required. Simply cut off sleeves, neckline and bottom hem, tie the back and VOILA!

Saved by Love Creations has compiled a list of 50 ideas of how to reuse your t-shirt. My personal two favorites are are the t-shirt tote bag from Instructables. Only supplies needed are a few pins, a pencil, a dinner plate, sewing machines, scissors and of course a t-shirt. The end result is a sturdy bag perfect for grocery shopping!

My other favorite from Savedbylovecreations is converting an old over-sized t-shirt into a skirt. Only supplies needed other than a t-shirt are a sewing machine, a pencil, scissors and a 3″ elastic waistband. A little cutting and sewing and you have the perfect cotton summer skirt!

The last idea doesn’t necessarily need to be done with an old t-shirt but instead with one of your favorites that needs a little updating. Plumadorable shares how by using a bleach pen and a stencil can transform your t-shirt instantly into a vintage looking graphic tee.

Be sure to check out our Pinterest Page where we have collected some other ideas on how to reuse your t-shirt. Happy reusing and Happy Earth Day!

10% on Aprons! Go Green or Go Home! – Spreadshirt is celebrating Earth Month

No. This is not a late St. Patrick’s Day post. This is about Earth Month. And we want you to join us in raising awareness and getting green! Here’s the story: Earth Day actually is a thing already: It is April 22nd and usually celebrated with planting trees, picking up roadside trash, conducting various programs for recycling and conservation, using recyclable containers for snacks and lunches. Some people are encouraged to sign petitions to governments, calling for stronger or immediate action to stop global warming and to reverse environmental destruction. We thought: go green or go home! Which is why we are making the whole month of April about the environment and we have awesome stuff coming up for you.
