Spreadshirt Shop Partners: Marketing ToDo’s This Autumn

Now that Summer is officially over, Christmas is the next big thing to look forward to! Start preparing for the biggest sales potential of the year by giving your shop the attention it deserves. The tips below should help you take the right steps towards generating even more sales through Christmas and beyond!

How many friends do you have?

Every single one of your friends is a potential – and FREE – source of advertising for you. Just give it a try: these days just about everyone has a Facebook account. The simplest thing to do is integrate your Spreadshirt Shop directly into your Facebook fan page. Here’s an example of how sushi-shirts’ shop looks. Don’t worry – it’s much easier than you think! Here’s how to integrate your Spreadshirt Shop into Facebook.

As soon as your shirts have been integrated into your shop’s fan page, you just need to ask your friends to “like” your shop and recommend it to their friends. This way, loads of people find out about it really quickly, and whenever you’ve got cool products on offer, your shop is bound to have plenty of traffic. But be careful: before you start drumming up all that attention, make sure your shop is in good shape. You can find more about changing the shop layout in our new Spreadshirt Shop video tutorials.

Tote Bags vs. Messenger Bags – Who’s King of the Carriers?

Over the course of their lives women spend 76 days rummaging around in their handbags, which they use to store items worth €800. This is according to the findings of a daily newspaper in Germany. So Spreadshirt are convinced that a woman’s bag, with which she spends so much of her time, shouldn’t just be any old off-the-rack number. Today’s look at the cotton statistics reveals the country where the highest numbers of personalized bags are sold, as well as which bag model it is the Danes prefer – and they certainly stand out from the crowd.

Andreas with his Tote BagClear more space in your wardrobe for tote bags! NOW!
It’s something of a “T-Shirt 2.0″:
As a statement against overpriced bags made of crocodile skin, the good old jute bag might nowadays just manage to get a reaction if you have something daring like “Nuclear Power? Yes Please!” printed on it, or perhaps if Lady Gaga were to show up inside one on the red carpet. After oh-so-many nights rocking out in clubs with a bag made of cloth over your shoulder, you might be tempted to finally lay your tote bag to rest.
And to be honest, I think you‘d have a point: I have to disappoint anyone who has just discovered tote bags and thinks they’re going to be the trend to end all trends. The trend is so over.
But let’s not be hasty! Tote bags are anything but dead. Cloth bags are here to stay. And not just because they are so damn versatile and practical.
Tote bags will really stand the test of time because they are affordable and worlds apart from our old chum the plastic bag – they’re the ultimate two-finger salute to our throwaway lifestyles – and after being used a thousand times for whatever purpose, they have that special quality of being able to look completely manky and worn out (but in a good way!).
Tote bags aren’t really about making a political statement anymore, but they’re still here to stay.
It wouldn’t really surprise me if, in the medium term at least, they were to give T-Shirts a run for their money as the ultimate way to say what’s on your mind. The parallels are unmistakable: T-Shirts also started out as a means of provoking others, soon establishing themselves as serious fashion items and an important means of making a statement – and now just look at them!
I’m confident the tote bag is gonna go on from humble beginnings to achieve great things, especially considering what the T-Shirt has done before it. So you’d better start clearing space on those shelves in your wardrobe!

Save 15% on our Ipad Sleeve today – Bagweek Promotion Day 6

Create your own Ipad Sleeve and save 15% only today. Steffen explain why this Ipad sleeve is always by his side. Coupon code: BAGWEEK6

Steffen with his Ipad SleeveAnybody who owns an iPad will surely know it only too well: Trying to find the perfect carrier for your most beloved companion can be like finding a needle in a haystack. There is now a huge selection of all sorts of sleeves and covers available, but it’s still tough finding the right model for you.
It certainly wasn’t easy for me, and I now own a whole bunch of different bags/protective cases for my iPad. One of them is the iPad Sleeve. The sleeve looks extremely sleek and simple so it does a great job of mirroring that optical appeal of Apple’s products. But there’s a large printable surface so any creative types out there have plenty of room to let their imagination run wild. The sleeve opens and closes using Velcro, so it’s extremely quick to get into but very secure when it’s closed and you’re on the move. Seeing as you normally use an iPad with no (or very few) accessories, there aren’t any extra compartments. That helps to keep the sleeve nice and small, so my iPad doesn’t take up too much space in my bag. The iPad Sleeve is definitely my first choice when it comes to securely transporting my iPad. Whether under my arm or in my big messenger bag, my iPad is always totally protected and it looks great.
